Installation Tips for 12" and 22-3/4" Cane Bolts:
- For bolt and surface strike install with #8 screws, predrill with 7/64" drill bit for soft wood or 1/8" drill bit for hardwood
- For mortise and rim strike install with #7 flat head screws, predrill with 3/32" drill bit for softwood or 7/64" drill bit for hardwood
- Hand tighten screws, do not use power tools with screws.
- When installing decorative hardware use hand tools in good condition
Installation Tips for 14" Cane Bolt:
- Predrill for main body, 5/32" drill bit for hardwood, 3/32" drill bit for softwood.
- Hand tighten screws only.

The goods MUST be in the original new condition and include all parts. The goods must be properly packaged to prevent any damage, including damage to finishes during transit. Charges will apply for items needing refinishing. Return shipping cost to be paid by customer.
